Our Durga puja has had a glorious past and we fervently wish for your association to highlight our puja to the masses even more. Rammohan Sammilani is located at one of the busiest intersections of Kolkata, in close proximity to places like Kankurgachi, Shyambazar, Maniktala and Sealdah. Our Puja and all the programs is star – studded, with many celebrities and VIP’s participating in and frequenting the festivals

Though celebration is a part of our life, we cannot ignore our social obligation, duty and bindings towards the society. History of Puja               :

Hari Ghosh Street Sarbojanin Durgotsab Samity is going to celebrate its Pre Platinum Jubille year of  Durgotsav with pomp, gaiety and a great enthusiasm. Yesteryear our Puja, one of the oldest and prestigious Pujas in North Kolkata, had earned a lot of reputation for its  new concept.

Our Samity, operating with limited resources, strives to provide for the education, healthcare and basic amenities of society, primarily in our locality. Our efforts include regular organization of social activities such as blood donation camp, free distribution of medicines to orphans and other needy fellow men. Recently, taking the help of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, a catering free Cold Drinking Water Project has been inaugurated  just to provide cold drinking water for the  Passer-by and people of our locality.
